THE ROLE

We’re looking for an** Environment Artist** to join our small but passionate world-building team This is a generalist role, perfect for someone with a solid foundation in environment art and at least a couple of years of hands-on experience in games. You’ll be part of shaping the look and feel of our game worlds—from creating and dressing environments to working with assets, textures, and surfaces that bring our settings to life.

As part of our tight-knit team, you'll have the chance to wear many hats, grow your skills fast, and make a real impact. If you're excited about helping build believable, beautiful worlds and have a sharp eye for detail and composition, you’ll fit right in.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Help craft rich and varied environments, dressing scenes with props, foliage, materials, and surface details.
- Collaborate with the world team to take areas from basic layout to final polish.
- Create variations of existing environments and props while maintaining visual consistency.
- Optimize assets for performance and troubleshoot visual bugs.
- Keep your work clean, modular, and efficient—balancing creativity with practical constraints.
- Contribute ideas and solutions that help us raise the bar visually and technically.
- Stay curious and up to date with tools, techniques, and trends in environment art.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- At least **2 years of experience** in a professional environment art role (internships or freelance included).
- A solid grasp of 3D art fundamentals—modeling, texturing, lighting, modular workflows, and optimization.
- Confidence in using tools like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter/Designer, or similar.
- A keen eye for detail, composition, and visual storytelling.
- A positive, collaborative mindset—you enjoy giving and receiving feedback and working with others.
- Ability to manage your time well and meet deadlines.
- A real passion for games and game worlds (and maybe a few weird obsessions that make you a great world builder).
