We are Anchor Point Studios and we are looking for Principal Environment Artist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Art department, you will be responsible for helping establish benchmark environments, authoring pipelines and best practices whilst working closely with the Lead Artist and Designers. Additionally:
- Collaborate with your Lead and other departments to understand and implement the artistic vision and style of the game.
- Strong proficiency in stylized art creation and visual development.
- Help establish Art benchmarks where needed
- Independently deliver work to a consistent artistic and technical quality
- Experience with Nanite pipelines is a strong plus.
- Establish key assets for production such as modular kits, trim sheets etc.
- Ensure authored content is adhering to any defined structures and standards.
- Effectively communicate with other Art disciplines, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of assets into the project.
- Provide mentoring to support more junior members of the team
- Experienced in level dressing and close collaboration with level design teams.
About You:
- Demonstrable experience working on a AAA title.
- Expert knowledge of industry-standard software such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Designer or Painter.
- Experience creating visually compelling assets and environments.
- Can work autonomously on tasks and be proactive in communicating with other disciplines.
- Experience working through the level creation pipeline
