The role: Senior Workplace Manager, Barcelona

When the pandemic began TravelPerk quickly created its own Community Team to bring people together over our shared mission and culture, no matter where they were located. We've gone on to build _with_ our Community (not _for_ them), hosting incredible company events, driving community initiatives and taking employee experience to the next level.

Our Community team recently expanded to include a dedicated Workplace function; relentlessly dedicated to propelling TravelPerk's community to success.

We're on the look out for a talented, driven individual to head our HQ Workplace team in Barcelona - a resourceful, creative problem solver with a strong sense of intuition. With an exciting, high profile year ahead, you'll be an operational master - able to manage tactical responsibilities with efficiency and style to drive us towards seamless excellence. Above all else, this person has to be a leader - prepared to take full ownership of the role and deliver a 7* experience to our community.

You'll be joining a new, highly motivated team; working at a fast pace with shifting priorities. Combined with our hyper-growth trajectory and visionary, diverse portfolio of spaces - the scope of this role, and our future, is virtually limitless.

**What you will do**:

- To oversee all aspects of our daily operations at TravelPerk HQ; showcasing a 7* employee experience standard in line with our values
- Reporting to the Global Workplace Manager, you'll lead the onsite team of 3 (and growing, fast)
- Assist in remote management our smaller international hubs, with occasional late calls to accommodate time zones (and occasional international travel)
- Proactively identify and overcome the operational challenges to allow for seamless, frictionless experiences for our people and customers.
- Support our wider Community team to drive a feeling of belonging
- Make a difference - drive our sustainability goals and make us better, greener and healthier community
- Proactively select, interview and negotiate a contracts with vendors; then manage these accordingly
- Partner with local stakeholders to foster strong relationships and drive cross collaboration
- Manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities. You'll be a go-to, in demand figure in the office.
- Be an internal influencer. An ambassador for our team, and a leading face of our business.
- Take an active interest in our team, taking time to nurture and develop their talents.
- Communicate clearly and effectively digitally, and in person across all levels of management.
- Assistant in managing a multi-million euro budget, driving accountability and responsibility in our spending
- Live out our team, and wider company values.

**What you need**:

- At least 4 years office/facilities management or flex space operations background
- Experience within tech a bonus
- You love working at pace
- An optimiser. Always looking to improve processes and deliver better experiences
- A growth mindset. No ego, constantly looking to grow.
- Team player is a must. _'If I win, you win. If you lose, I lose'_ attitude
- Ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
- An open, pleasant demeanour at all times, no matter what deadlines you're under
- Must be fluent in English. Fluent Spanish/Catalan a distinct advantage.
