**Role Overview**
The **Business Manager** will support both the day-to-day operations and strategic coordination of the company. This role offers a wide range of responsibilities across Board coordination, investment reporting, accounting oversight, and administrative tasks related to HR and insurance. You will be a key support to the leadership team and will ensure smooth functioning of our corporate and financial activities.
The role is part-time (50% pensum), with regular presence required in our centrally located office in Barcelona.

**Key Responsibilities**
**Board & Corporate Support**
- Organize and prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings: agendas, minutes, scheduling, and document circulation.
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant corporate records and documentation.
**Investment Operations**
- Assist with preparing investment-related presentations and internal reporting.
- Coordinate financial transfers with the parent company in Luxembourg, ensuring proper documentation and financial controls.
- Support investment team with transaction administration and follow-ups.
**Finance & Accounting Oversight**
- Liaise with external accountants for monthly closings, reports, and tax documentation.
- Monitor invoices, payments, and financial records; assist in budget tracking.
- Ensure financial controls and documentation are maintained.
**HR & Insurance Administration**
- Manage employee records, contracts, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Coordinate payroll with external providers and support HR queries.
- Handle insurance matters, including renewals, claims, and documentation.

- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an investment firm, family office, or financial institution.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Discreet, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and working with accounting/reporting tools.
