**Your Responsibilities**
- As a **System Engineer** you take over the responsibility for** Design, planning and deployment** of **Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft Azure SQL Database infrastructures**
- You will **take over responsibility for Operation, monitoring and optimisation of business-critical database systems** (cloud or on-premise)
- You will **administer, configure and implement database systems** in standalone and cluster operation.
- You will have the opportunity to develop processes and enhance the service.
- You have a strong interest working in a** distributed team**

**It can be a perfect match if you meet**:

- Bachelor in the field of computer science or** 3 years of professional experience**
- Sound professional experience in the field of **A**dministration and operation of Microsoft SQL servers and strengths in the conception and implementation of solutions in the DBA environment.**
- Microsoft certifications **(MCSA, MCSE)** sound knowledge in **Microsoft 365** and **Active Directory** and **Azure Active Directory.**
- **Virtualisation** (VMWare, Dogger, Kubernetes) and **Administration, powershell scripting**, experience is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. **Fluent (in writing and speaking) in English.**

**It would also be a plus if you**:

- Knowledge of the German language.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP equivalent)
