**Your Responsibilities**
- **Planning, implementation, configuration, and operational support of networks** (Cisco, LAN/WLAN) and **firewall system**s (Checkpoint, Cisco), as well as the **WAN connection** of all Drees & Sommer locations.
- Your contribution is required to **develop innovative network strategies**, **philosophies**, and **criteria** to secure continuous and highly available operation.
- Serve as a contact for issues you **support 2nd level.**
- Requirements regarding **communication services, recovery, network, and cybersecurity**, you will ensure by **monitoring and improving network performance**
- Perform **network analysis and diagnostics** as needed to resolve network issues.
- You **enjoy conceptualizing, designing, and implementing** network infrastructure projects
- You **like to work in a distributed team** with colleagues in Germany
**It can be a perfect match if you meet**:
- Bachelor in the field of computer science or equivalent** professional experience.**
- Sound professional experience in the field of **network infrastructure**: routing, switching, firewalling, IDS, and **profound knowledge** with **Microsoft Server** and **Linux operating systems.**
- **P**roject management** experience
- Fluent written and oral **English skills**
**It would also be a plus if you**:
- Experience with **SIEM**, VoIP/SIP telephony, UC systems, or **Cisco certification** (CCNA).
