**Position Summary**:
The Medical & Scientific Liason (MSL) function is responsible to create scientific partnership with local KOLs through a qualified approach that results in access and advocacy based on scientific evidences. Elevate the role of nutrition within the different disciplines of HCP.
The MSL is accountable for translating and executing locally (by autonomous community) the country medical plan that supports the strategic operating goals for the business.

**A day in the life of...**:

- Needs to understand locally and in each hospital the patient journey and stakeholders interaction.
- Through elevating the role of nutrition with the different stakeholders increase the number of treatments.
- Focus in the chronic treatments and improve compliance and treatment adherence.
- There is a need of frequent communication between market access, medical affairs, marketing and sales as a multidisciplinary approach.
- Identify, engage, develop and manage field-based relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders including key HCPs, payer thought leaders, and medical decision makers,

identify and engage appropriate stakeholders to participate in company sponsored programs and activities.- Present accurate, unbiased, balanced and non-misleading science and results to various audiences.
- Develop and implement regional/field based and/or sales initiated external medical education programs/scientific events for healthcare professionals to advance business strategies.

**What will make you successful**:

- MD, Pharm D, or PhD in nutritional sciences, bioscience, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in combination of clinical (patient care) and industry.
- Advanced practical nutritional skills and knowledge.
- Has independently managed projects/tasks on clinical nutrition and experience in managing clinical trials (efficacy, Health Economics and Patient Reported Outcomes) and medical writing.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. Including specific capabilities as Instructor (able to teach) and facilitator (able to generate and moderate discussions).
- Worked in a matrix environment and experience of working in a team (experience in dealing with sales team to drive and implement plans)
- Experience in developing long-term relationships with leaders and stakeholders of the medical/healthcare community. Relationship with medical and scientific circles and be recognized as having credible experience in nutrition
- Experience in digital projects to connect with HCP /caregivers/patients
- Managed independently under challenging/demanding market environments to achieve and exceed goals
- Highly organized.
- Ability to travel (in the local area asigned)
- High level of English
