**About the Role**
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team. As a credentialed expert (iPhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent degree), you will engage in scientific exchange with leaders in the external medical and scientific community. In this role, you will provide scientific leaders (SLs) with balanced, factual information about non-product areas of interest to the Company, while also responding to scientific inquiries, including those related to Company products.
Your work will be aligned with four core pillars: Scientific Exchange, Research, Scientific Congress Support, and Scientific Insights. You will act as a liaison between the scientific community and the Company, enhancing the understanding of scientific foundations and objectives for approved, in-development, and active Company-sponsored trials and/or investigator-sponsored research studies.
Additionally, you will serve as a role model for other members of the field medical team by onboarding new talent and sharing your therapeutic expertise.
**What you will do**:
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), your primary responsibilities will encompass a range of activities focused on scientific exchange, research, scientific congress support, and gathering scientific insights.
- ** Scientific Exchange**: You will develop professional relationships and engage with national and/or regional scientific leaders (SLs) to facilitate access to medical and scientific information related to therapeutic areas of interest and Company products. Conducting peer-to-peer scientific discussions, you will maintain a consistent presence with SLs, ensuring they have a reliable medical contact within the Company. You will address scientific questions and direct inquiries outside of your scope to the appropriate Company resources while keeping abreast of the evolving scientific and clinical landscape in the Company’s Areas of Interest (AOI).
- ** Research**: Upon request from Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO), you will identify barriers to patient enrollment and retention efforts, recommend study sites, and suggest potential investigators for phase II-IV clinical development programs. You will also handle inquiries from investigators regarding participation in Company-sponsored clinical studies. Additionally, you will enhance understanding of the scientific foundations and goals of investigator-sponsored research, identifying obstacles to patient enrollment and initiating discussions with SLs and potential investigators for scientific data exchange.
- ** Scientific Congress Support**: You will engage in scientific and medical meetings through pre-congress preparation, facilitating the exchange of scientific and data insights for both Company and competitor data. You may also staff congress exhibit booths as required.
- ** Scientific Insights**: Your role will include gathering feedback, data, or information during routine activities to help the Company better understand the medical or scientific needs, priorities, or concerns of healthcare practitioners and patients.
- ** Inclusive Mindset and Behavior**: You will demonstrate an eagerness to contribute to an environment of belonging, inclusion, equity, and empowerment, leading by example as a role model for creating, leading, and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.
**What You Bring**:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
- A PhD, PharmD, or MD.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical and/or research experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills.
- A thorough understanding of local and regional regulatory agencies, as well as ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and its customers.
- The ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
- A desire to contribute to an environment of belonging, engagement, equity, and empowerment, including:
