Senior Medical Science Liaison Spain Rare TumourJoin Merck Healthcare in the role of Senior Medical Science Liaison to drive scientific engagement in Spain for our rare tumour portfolio. SpringWorks Therapeutics, a commercial‑stage biopharmaceutical company of Merck KGaA, is dedicated to improving the lives of patients with rare tumours. Identify KOLs and establish strong scientific relationships with KOLs across multi‑specialty disciplines, connecting to KOLs in academic and non‑academic centres at the local, regional and national level. Communicate experts’ opinion and feedback on new data and clinical trends to Medical Affairs and translate this information into strategic recommendations to enhance science and advance patient care. Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and performing investigator‑initiated research. Serve as medical lead and provide scientific support at medical congresses, support national and European medical booth staffing, participate and lead clinical support, and facilitate medical discussions at advisory boards and local scientific/medical programmes. Lead national projects such as national congresses and patient‑advocacy group engagement as delegated by Country or European medical leadership. Be familiar with country‑specific pharma rules and regulations, particularly as they apply to MSL activities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical decision makers at local and national institutions. Partner with cross‑functional teams, including HEOR/market access, to develop the strategy for generating health‑economic and outcomes data as needed, and present such data to relevant audiences. Manage or lead relevant medical activities/projects such as facilitating field medical onboarding programmes and supporting training of commercial colleagues. Partner with Global Medical Information colleagues to continuously improve Standard Response Letters and the efficiency of the MIRF process. Contribute to national and regional medical strategy and medical planning as a senior member of the medical team. Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience required (MD, PhD, PharmD). Minimum of 5 years MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Rare disease experience preferred, particularly in Oncology and/or Neurosciences.
