El principal objetivo del centro es la realización de proyectos de investigación industrial aplicada mediante una estrecha colaboración con los departamentos de I+D.

**Job description**:
Railway is the most sustainable means of transportation, and an essential pillar for the mobility of the future. However, there is great room for improvement in the efficiency and cost of operations. Among them, energy consumption is an important part of the operational expenditure, both on the part of vehicles and infrastructure.

We are looking for a motivated person to do a doctoral thesis and to research and innovate in new technologies that contribute to making railway transportation even more efficient, safe and sustainable.
- Synchronous motors with recycled permanent magnets.

The research will be conducted within an ERJU project.

Immediate.

Schedule:
winter: 7.75 hours per day. July and August: 6 hours a day (continuous).

Flexible hours: check-in between 8:00 and 9:30, check-out from 4:15 p.m.

Possibility of continuous day on Friday.

Teleworking:
Option to telework 3 days per month.

Holidays:
23 days + Christmas holiday (24 Dec-2 Jan).

**Requirements**:
Degree:
Industrial Engineering or Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering.

**Language**:
English/Spanish.

Software:
Desirable: Matlab / Ansys Maxwell / Altair Flux / Ansys Fluent / Motor-CAD.
