CIDETEC Energy Storage _is seeking to recruit a person to join its Energy Materials unit, to carry out a doctoral thesis on the development of advanced physico-chemical models for implementation in BMS.

**Your contribution**
You will form part of a state-of-the-art research centre, geared to sustainability and the circular economy, which has helped electrify Spain’s roads and is now working towards 100% future sustainability.
You will undertake your thesis in the highly innovative area of multi-physical models in BMS control.
Your work will be geared to:
- Development of surrogate models
- On-board and cloud implementation of the models
- Validation of the models developed in a real BMS

**Education**:
Engineering/Physics/Mathematics.
**Languages**:
Fluent in spoken and written English.
**Knowledge**:
- Programming in Python
- Knowledge of numerical algorithms
- Knowledge of batteries
Knowledge of the following will also be considered an advantage:
- Real-time system monitoring and control
- Modern programming tools, visualisation and version control (Git)
**Observations**:
We are seeking a highly **motivated person with an interest in research and innovation,** to join a **multi-disciplinary team**. They must be able to organise their work and meet deadlines and targets.
