**Descripción de la oferta**:
We have an open PhD position in the domain of decentralized trust & self-sovereign identity (SSI) to solve complex technical problems related to the fields of computer science, security, and privacy, and will design solutions from scratch, always thinking about how to maximize security and usability simultaneously. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Decentralized identity schemes.
- Ways in which Identity can be established on the DLT.
- Proofs of Identity.
- Secure and privacy-preserving token and asset exchange.
- Blockchains and distributed-ledger technologies.
- Verifiable computing and zero-knowledge proofs.
- Providing transitive identity across blockchains and from/into legacy systems.
- Techniques to retain privacy in various settings (private, semi-public, or public).

Start date:

Schedule:
winter: 7.75 hours per day. July and August: 6 hours a day (continuous).

Flexible hours: check-in between 8:00 and 9:30, check-out from 4:15 p.m.

Possibility of continuous day on Friday.

Teleworking:
Option to telework 3 days per month.

Holidays:
23 days + Christmas holiday (Dec 24-Jan 2).
