Ankorstore is looking for a Head of Customer Insight Manager who will join the Growth Marketing team to build our central Customer Insights & Value Proposition (CIVP) function.
You will play a crucial role in our broader organization, leveraging data-driven insights (obtained from qual or quant research and data analysis) to answer some of our biggest business questions and influence the strategy of multiple functions.
**What will be your mission**:
**Insights & marketing strategy**:
Shape our overall customer strategy by helping us understand who our existing and prospective customers are (demographics, attitudes, needs) and by articulating which specific segments we should focus on.
- Centralise insights gathered by other functions in the organisation - ensure we have a central repository for all insights studies, vetting methodology and aligning the organisation around the so-what
- Create research and analysis plans, develop appropriate quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to gather insights and drive end-to-end execution
- Create and maintain fit-for-purpose customer segmentations retailer and brands side
- Make sure these segmentations feed acquisition (offer, paid, outbound, sales) and retention (CRM, offer) teams
**Value proposition & business model**:
Identify customer needs and pain points, using these insights to define and shape
- our overall value proposition to win these customers, driving product improvements and regularly measuring how we are doing against these key aspects
- changes to our commercial terms / business model / commission levels
Team management
Lead a team of 2+ analysts to help you gather insights and structure analyses and recommendations.
**Your profile**:
- 5+ years of experience in business strategy, marketing strategy or customer insights function
- Experience running qual and/or quant research ( ideally in a B2B context)
- Experience translating insights from research into structured and actionable business recommendations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Experience in business casing as well as project management is a plus
**Other qualities that would add value**
- Knowledge of the wholesale or retail industry
- Experience working in a fast-growing tech environment, preferably a marketplace
