**Global Senior Legal Counsel**

**Remote based - **The role is home-based and could be located in one of the following countries: UK, US, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Singapore.**

**What will you do?**

The Global Legal Counsel is the senior legal advisor, supporting and guiding the Regional Counsels working in each market - EMEA, APAC, USC and LATAM for example.

Responsible for providing legal oversight, expertise and guidance across the team, you’ll:

- Advise and support internal stakeholders, such as the management, sales and project execution teams on a wide variety of contractual, commercial and legal matters. Providing guidance, support as well as risk management and mitigation for all business activities, challenges and opportunities
- Act as point of escalation and guide on the review and negotiation of commercial agreements
- Lead legal projects and process improvements such as insurance, trade marks & IP or data privacy
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, ethical practices, company values, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Advise on, facilitating, and resolving any legal risk for dss+
- Coordinate and collaborate with all other legal team members to ensure global coverage of legal matters
- Train and educate the team on legal matters
- Manage external legal counsel
- Model and support our core values and mission critical behaviours.

**Who are you?**

A Qualified lawyer with significant proven experience in an international corporate setting or a reputable law firm, you:

- Have operated at a senior level in-house within consulting or professional services
- Have excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Possess comprehensive general legal knowledge in various areas of law relevant to a consultancy company, including corporate law, IP law, general commercial law, data protection and compliance
- Can effectively communicate with and convincingly present to relevant internal stakeholders and third parties
- Take a pragmatic, commercial, risk-based approach and are focused on providing practical solutions with a business impact
- Are willing and interested in working closely with the dss+ team and contribute directly to the group's success
- Thrive in an autonomous role and excel in a fast growth environment where you will need to deal with a degree of ambiguity and make decisions with or without complete information
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, another language - such as French or German - will be a plus
- High level of integrity.
