**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the principal point of contact and overall head of legal for Binance in Europe, managing both regulatory activities and broader legal responsibilities including litigation.
- Oversee Binance's regulatory and overall legal obligations across Europe, ensuring total compliance with pertinent laws, regulations, and litigations.
- Lead the Europe Legal team, shaping the company's strategic vision in the region, including but not restricted to regulatory matters.
- Support Binance's international efforts in obtaining local approvals, permits, or licenses while also overseeing all litigation aspects in the region.
- Cultivate relationships not only with regulators and exchanges but also with legal personnel and other critical stakeholders across Europe, adeptly developing networks and promoting Binance's interests.
- Advise on an extensive range of regulatory and legal issues that could affect existing and potential services.
- Interpret and anticipate regulations and legal requirements that could impact our business, steering management on necessary adjustments.
- Coordinate all regulatory audit processes, examinations and litigation procedures. Ensure Binance is always ready for regulatory assessments and legal confrontations.
- Develop and implement EU-focused legal and regulatory policy and guidance aligning with Binance's strategic objectives.
- Work in tandem with various business teams, supporting the introduction and expansion of new products and services and bridging the regulatory and commercial realms, all while ensuring legal soundness throughout.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified to practice law in a leading European/UK jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 10-12 years' experience in a senior legal role, ideally focusing on regulatory affairs within the technology or financial services sector.
- Extensive experience from a reputable global law firm alongside relevant in-house experience is highly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial products including spot trading, margin trading, futures and options, as well as payments systems like credit card networks, FIAT channels, PSPs and wallets, etc.
- Possess a robust understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape across the EU.
- Proven track record of effectively managing legal and regulatory compliance issues, and experience liaising with regulatory bodies in the EU.
- Active interest in the cryptocurrency industry and its evolving regulations.
- Solid experience with product development from ideation to launch, particularly in a financially regulated environment.
- Exceptional team spirit and a strong instinct for cross-functional collaboration.
- Capacity to navigate complex areas of law and provide practical, actionable advice.
- Proactive and willing to get hands-on with challenges, taking a leading role in shaping strategic company decisions.
- Possess an excellent command over written and spoken English. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
