**Design Program Manager, Avatars Responsibilities**:
- Identify and drive product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, and many moving parts
- Define and manage strategic initiatives that improve product team efficiency and impact
- Facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives, and establish clear next steps and owners while resolving blocks that impede progress
- Proactively assess risk, raise flags, and resolve issues before they become problems for the larger teams
- Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively
- Track the overall design program, inside and outside the team, identify and solve issues before others can see them
- Manage the design team’s operations, ranging from onboarding programmes to acquiring prototyper hardware
- Identify opportunities for operational and people improvements and drive them to resolution
- Represent design in a variety of forums with product, engineering or other XFN
- Set the bar for what organizational and operational excellence looks like
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Experience working with product teams or programs from roadmapping through delivery
- Understanding of the product development and design process, especially in 0-1 space
- Strong experience as a digital producer, project manager or program manager with experience establishing programs, supporting design teams, and developing relationships
- Experience leading product or business strategy in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
- Critical eye for high-craft design
- Track record of operating independently and without oversight
- Experience working directly with product designers, UX researchers, and content strategists
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Willingness and passion to deeply understand the product space and Avatars platform we are building
- Passion to work on emerging technologies
