At Sector Alarm's Customer Service center in Fuengirola we have a brilliant IT-team which are supporting, not only us at Customer Service, but all incidents and requests reported to Sector Alarm's 1st line support in all countries. Sector Alarm has today businesses' in Norway, Sweden, France, Finland, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Portugal.

**You need to be already living in or around Malaga to apply, since we need you to start with a short notice.**
This is a permanent full-time position at Customer Service, Fuengirola. You are reporting to Julie Trouwaert our Service Desk Team Leader, and be a part of our Service Desk team. Opening hours on the Service desk is 7 AM to 9 PM CET, also on bank holidays, but no weekends. We rotate in the team between the opening hours and bank holidays.

**Key responsibilities**:

- and remote support and troubleshooting for internal IT customers.
- Create a positive customer support experience while handling customers with a professional attitude and ensuring timely resolution or escalation to higher level of support.
- Register incidents and create knowledge base articles including the troubleshooting steps taken, solutions and results in Jira Service Desk system and Confluence (Knowledge base)
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and escalate to other support teams when necessary.
- Take ownership of incidents and manage them in a logical and methodical manner. Follow up on status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner.
- Provide input to initiatives and creative ideas to improve IT operations and IT value to customers.

**Qualifications** **for the role**:

- University degree or equivalent in an IT Infrastructure discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- English and Spanish required
- Portuguese, French, Italian or any Scandinavian languages desired.
- Experience with setup and troubleshooting skills of MS Windows 10, MS Office Suite, MS Intune, and basic Windows/Azure Active Directory issues. Experience with setup and troubleshooting skills on desktops, laptops, printers, smartphones etc.
- General knowledge of basic network components and concepts desired.
- ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus, but not required.
