**About the team and the position**:
We are now looking for an analytical, energetic and highly motivated Application Support Analyst who thrives in a fast-pace and innovative environment. As part of the IT Application Support function you will provide 2nd line support for key IT business services such as MyPages/App and other internal customer facing services.
**In this role you will**:
- Investigate and conduct root cause analysis of reported issues using log data and exploring SQL databases
- Recategorize, reproduce errors, and provide quick fixes for incidents
- Escalate clear incident reports based on findings where software development fixes are required
- Liaise with the business representatives to keep them informed and updated of incident progress
- Manage the communication between end users and third level support teams
- Provide input to initiatives and creative ideas to improve IT operations and IT value to customers
- Participate into the setup of monitoring solutions in order to improve services efficiency
- Align and contribute on development teams backlog and release schedule
**Minimum requirements we are looking for**:
- At least 1 year of experience working as part of a software development team or IT support team
- Experience with Atlassian suite tools (Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Jira SW, etc.)
- Experience with Visio (flow-charts, system maps)
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK, Azure Application Insights, AppDynamics, etc)
- Proficiency in English
**We believe it will give you an additional advantage if you have**:
- University degree or equivalent in an IT discipline
- Scripting language and programming experience
- Experience with databases and distributed systems such as MySQL
- Spanish, French or any Scandinavian languages
- ITIL Foundation Certification
