Our focus is on the seamless delivery of data intelligence to the user - whether that is in raw data feed form via APIs, in dynamic spreadsheet/platform integrations, or in custom-build vertical BI solutions targeting a specific problem for a specific user base.
As a Sr. Business Development Manager, you will help grow our presence in Europe, with a focus on building our brand in the market, developing our customer network, and identifying and selling solutions to our customers.
This opportunity is available in our European hub in Barcelona. We are a global company headquartered in Detroit, MI with over 250 staff around the world.
**What You’ll Do**
- Manage business development efforts for Europe - identifying and generating new project opportunities, clarifying the customer’s issues and needs, developing compelling and differentiated proposals
- Build strong and trusted relationships with customers and prospects, serving as a primary contact for strategic questions
- Work with internal project tech teams - empowering the team to plan and manage all aspects of project requirements, from scope to delivery
**Requirements**:
- Significant current experience (at least 5 years) conducting business development activities, including prospecting, lead nurturing, and effectively closing new clients
- Articulate, confident, and able to develop relationships with executive-level contacts
- Proven track record of developing new, high value, customer engagements
- Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written
**Nice to Have**
- Business Development Experience with DaaS/SaaS solutions
- Travel industry experience (Airlines & Hospitality) is a plus
- Fluency in multiple European languages (German, French, Spanish) in addition to English
