**About the Role**
**Base Location**: Bilbao or Madrid
**Salary**: €45,000 - €60,000 + performance-related bonus
**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible Working Available
We've already taken our first international steps, and our operations in Southern Europe are growing with our business. To ensure success, we're expanding our HR team to include a local expert on European ways of working.
As HR Manager, you'll be part of our SSE Renewables HR Team, which is primarily UK based, and support the local business teams in Spain, Italy, France and Greece to drive the people agenda.
You'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle to ensure a positive employee experience for all colleagues.
- Partnering with senior business leaders in these locations aligning people strategy with business goals and ensuring our employees are well looked after.
- Providing strong leadership, influence, advice, coaching and counsel to the business leadership teams.
- Working with HR colleagues internationally to deliver projects that meet the needs of each country in your remit.
**What do I need?**
This is a truly generalist role, so you'll need to have a track record of managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, reward and learning and talent. You should also be multilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and business English as a minimum.
We would love you to:
- Have a broad understanding of European labour law including Collective Bargaining Agreements to ensure we fulfil our statutory obligations and maintain effective labour relations and HR compliance in each country.
- Have worked with and managed external service providers including advisors and payroll provision.
- Be highly organised, delivery focussed, and decisive.
- Demonstrate confident communication and be able to influence decisions and business outcomes.
