Possible Skills:

  • Masonry Tasks:
    • Perform tasks such as CHB laying, concrete mixing, and plastering.
    • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades at construction sites.
  • Carpentry and Woodworking:
    • Execute basic carpentry and furniture carpentry tasks.
    • Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and plywood.
  • Electrical Installation and Maintenance:
    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
    • Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
  • Plumbing and Pipefitting:
    • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
  • Painting and Decorating:
    • Apply paint, wallpaper, and additional finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Welding and Metal Fabrication:
    • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
  • Tiling:
    • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Roofing:
    • Cover roofs with shingles, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and related materials.
  • Air Conditioning and Refrigeration:
    • Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
  • Drywall Installation:
    • Measure, cut, fit, and fasten panels. Prepare panels for painting by taping and finishing joints.
  • Landscaping:
    • Perform landscaping and grounds keeping tasks, plant trees, mow lawns, trim bushes, and plant gardens.
  • Flooring Installation:
    • Measure, cut, and install various flooring materials.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation:
    • Operate several types of power construction equipment, such as excavators, forklifts, and loaders.
  • General Construction Skills:
    • Perform staking, take measurements, and read plans and blueprints to ensure accurate construction.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, properly use personal protective gear, and report any issues to the safety coordinator.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in one or more of the above construction disciplines.
  • TESDA NC II or higher certifications in relevant trades (e.g., Masonry, Carpentry, Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Welding, Heavy Equipment Operation).
  • Ability to handle physical workload and lift heavy weights.
  • Strong understanding of constructionand their relevant field.
