Pre-Sales Technical Consultant - Indigo & PageWideApply locations Sant Cugat del Valles, Barcelona, Spain time type Full time posted on Posted 3 Days Ago job requisition id 3141788Description -The HP Graphics Experience Center in Barcelona is a vital player in HP’s sales strategy and connects experts with customers to understand their needs and present the latest end-to-end Graphic Arts solutions.In your role as a pre-sales press specialist, you will be sharing expertise and practical knowledge of HP´s Graphics Solutions Business technology and product portfolio to PSPs, brands, marketing agencies, and converters to highlight the power and added value of HP’s digital printing solutions. You’ll be the technical focal and reference point for any questions related to media, printing, Primers, HP Indigo technology, and finishing towards customers as well as inside the HP organization.Your understanding of the printing market will help to develop new applications and drive the transformation from conventional to digital printing.If you’re passionate about the print market, you will play an essential role in the success of our business by developing strategies for optimal results.Roles and Responsibilities:Thorough understanding of printing principles, theories, and concepts.Perform face-to-face and/or virtual product presentations to customers.Total customer experience deployment: ensure that all customers have a pleasant experience visiting and working with the Experience Center employees.Take end-to-end ownership of Sample Request (preparation, printing, finishing, shipping, reporting).Operate printing equipment.Finish jobs with the adequate finishing equipment.Report each activity related to customers.Be a digital print reference and show finishing and media expertise.Work under own initiative and take ownership of issues, ensuring best in class support to partners and customers.Contribute to process improvement and deploy new set processes for performance improvements.Apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and recommend appropriate alternative solutions.Adhere to 5S standards for machine and workplace maintenance.Adhere to the Company’s Quality and Business Processes.Case study and sample catalogue knowledge.Contribute to EMEA sales objectives by constant improvement of customer experience in order to ensure business growth.Qualifications:University degree or professional studies in Graphics.At least 5 years’ experience in the Printing industry.Customer focused.Very high communication and presentation skills are a must.High ability to learn with a problem-solving attitude.Quality driven and self-motivated.Proven hands-on experience in digital and/or traditional printing (Offset, Flexo, Gravure, ABG Digicon Series 3).Strong knowledge of finishing solutions and media.Experience with priming and varnishing processes and equipment.Knowledge of Digital Embellishment.Sound knowledge of digital and traditional graphic industry.Color management skills is a plus.Basic knowledge in DTP (Adobe CC).Team player and stress resistant.Fluency in English and another main European language is mandatory - any other languages will be considered a plus.Willing to travel for EMEA Trade shows and customer visits.Experience our benefits:Health & Life insurance.Lunch at reduced prices at our canteen/ticket restaurant vouchers.HP product discounts.Flex optimization program: Kindergarten tickets, public transportation tickets.Diverse, continued internal growth and career opportunities, including HP’s own learning platform and LinkedIn Learning.Being part of HP means access to an international community with lots of growth opportunities within the company, professional development resources, networking opportunities, while enjoying in a great atmosphere making an impact.Women, Pride, Young employees, Multicultural, Sustainability, and Disability Just a few of our fantastic global business networks you can get involved with locally.We also dedicate time and resources to contribute to our community through Corporate Volunteering activities, including our onsite HP Charity day.Our HP Barcelona campus in Sant Cugat del Vallès is an inspiring diverse and inclusive venue to meet, engage and co-create with your colleagues from all over the world: flexible work, collaborative spaces, sports and leisure areas (gym, tennis court, ping-pong, soccer field, or a basketball court).Sounds like you?
