PURPOSE As the trusted partner to the BU CFO for all Business Finance matters, the Senior Finance Business Partner enables financially sound planning and decision making across the partner organization. The role spreads financial acumen, tells clear, data-driven stories that spur action, bridges the gap between finance and operations, and helps shape the decision support tools delivered with Data and Analytics / FP&A. The role takes a technology-guided, coaching-led approach to partnering, enabling decision makers to act more independently. It interprets data, advises the business and supports long-run performance management, drawing on a deep understanding of SITA's business models and financial drivers to convert analysis into decisions, targets and outcomes. It does not produce reporting; production is owned centrally by Data and Analytics / FP&A. Support technology and operations cost transparency and investment decisions, project and product, productivity economics and investment business cases across the technology portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deepen decision makers’ Business Finance acumen to enable independent decision making: Provide continuous coaching to decision makers, helping them understand the way Business Finance analyzes a situation and arrives at an insight, and then apply it consistently in their decision-making processes.
- Influence decisions through narrative and visuals: Turn Business Finance analysis into a clear, compelling story tied to the decision at hand, to build conviction and move business leaders to act. Draw on the standardized reports and dashboards produced by Data and Analytics / FP&A and BI, or self-serve tailored, decision-specific visuals through tools such as ERP analytics and Copilot, always on the single governed data source. The measure is the quality of the decisions taken, not the volume of analysis produced.
- Challenge decision makers’ assumptions (e.g., by teaching them problem analysis or leading them through root-cause exercises of their current obstacles) to reduce bias and introduce finance’s perspective.
- Train decision makers on using value-driver trees to connect operational decisions’ effects on optimizing enterprise value creation (e.g., risk mitigation actions, investment prioritization) and assess the financial impacts of decisions.
- Assist with improving decision makers' financial data literacy (e.g., through identifying learning programs, storytelling that translates financial data and modeling into business language or shadowing live scenario analysis) to improve decision makers’ understanding of the financial impact and risks associated with different scenarios.
- Assess and anticipate decision makers’ needs:
- Build strong relationships with executives and business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and challenges and anticipate the most effective support path.
- Surface decision makers’ latent needs by actively listening to uncover new opportunities for decision support tools and services, produced by Data and Analytics / FP&A.
- Enable rapid improvement in service and support via a continuous feedback loop with all decision makers.
- Provide in-depth, highly personalized decision support to executive decision makers:
- Seek ways to continuously and proactively guide executives to meet and surpass performance goals.
- Monitor leading indicators to identify initiative delivery risks and operational performance gaps, drive action or provide alternative approaches.
- Help executives determine where to drive enterprise value or mitigate risk (e.g., through metric prioritization).
- Provide direct support to nonexecutive decision makers when appropriate:
- Assess inbound support requests from partners to determine prioritization. Determine if the request could be served by an existing decision support tool or if it warrants the creation of a new one.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and assist in planning cost-reduction strategies.
- During the budgeting process, engage in budget pressure-testing, providing Business Finance expertise to ensure stakeholders understand potential risks and constraints.
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive business cases
