Are you an experienced technical leader looking for a long-term professional opportunity in Palma? A recycling company based in Mallorca is seeking a dedicated Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, and inventory at its facility in Palma. Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising the workshop personnel under your direct responsibility.
- Controlling warehouse inventory and maintaining an organized system in both the workshop and storage areas.
- Overseeing vehicle decontamination processes and the dismantling of parts.
- Supervising work organization and waste management to ensure proper transfer to authorized waste treatment partners.
- Monitoring and enforcing full compliance with environmental protection regulations and workplace safety standards (occupational risk prevention).
- Participating actively in internal company communication processes to suggest operational improvements, achieve targets, and implement corrective actions when non-conformities are detected.
To be successful in this position
- Educational background: Intermediate Vocational Training degree (Cicle Formatiu de Grau Mitjà or equivalent vocational qualification).
- Experience: At least 12 months (1 year) of relevant practical experience in workshop supervision or technical operations.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a workshop setting.
- Strong leadership abilities, structured work habits, and clear communication skills.
What is offered with this position
- Contract: Permanent full-time employment contract.
- Working hours: Full-time schedule from 8:30 to 17:00.
- Salary: Gross annual salary of €21,600, plus a monthly performance incentive.
- Location: Palma, Mallorca.
