You'll find Generator Barcelona, a hotel and hostel, in the buzzing district of Gracia. The hostel’s just a short walk from Gaudi's iconic Casa Batllo apartments. The interiors showcase a mix of styles and include an oversized wooden birdcage, a winding staircase and a mezzanine chill-out lounge.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Overseeing the team and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel, guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and other assigned areas
• Monitor the supervision of effective bedroom cleaning, servicing and maintenance, ensuring sufficient room stock is available to meet business demands
• To ensure that the Hotels housekeeping practice and standards are adhered to
• Have a good understanding of our guests needs and give your team members direction to fulfil these needs in a fast and effective way
• Complete any required administrative function
• Display a passionate, fun and enthusiastic approach to work in order to inspire and motivate the members of the team, creating an enjoyable, cohesive and supportive working environment to work within
• Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance inclusive of COSHH
• Create Quality Standards

YOUR DNA

• Highly motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
• Have exceptional administration and organisation skills with great attention to detail
• Must be highly customer focused with excellent communication skills

• Possess the ability to keep staff motivated during long and demanding shift
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as Housekeeping Manager or similar role
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organisations
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
