You will provide the foundation of data management and governance in the years to come.RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the Governance Coordination team to provide insights and guidance to various members of the data community, empowering them to effectively fulfill their roles.Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives related to the implementation of data governance guidelines, frameworks, and rules established by the Data Governance team.Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to disseminate Data Guidelines, Frameworks, and standards defined at the global level to all data community members.Assist in the design, definition, and implementation of effective data governance practices and tools.Facilitate workshops aimed at steering and implementing data governance and management processes.Conduct audits to evaluate data governance and proper data handling on prioritized projects or regions, aligning with business needs, strategic goals, or specific requirements.Collaborate with other members of the Data Governance and Strategy team to identify opportunities for enhancing data handling practices across AP.QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related field (e.g., business informatics).3-5 years of project management or data management experience, principles, practices, and techniques used in managing information.High affinity for organizational communication as well as excellent presentation skills.Deep knowledge and experience in data management ecosystems and data governance.Good understanding of data sharing, data protection, data demand management, data quality, and knowledge management concepts.Proven experience as a Data Governance, Data Architect, or in a similar role.Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.BENEFITSResponsibility from day one in a challenging work environment and "on-the-job" training as part of a committed team.Adequate compensation according to your qualifications and experience.A secure work environment because your health, safety, and wellbeing are always our top priority.Flexible work schedule and Home-office options, so that you can balance your working life and private life.Learning and development opportunities.23 holidays per year.Another 5 days (readjustments days) and 2 days (cultural days).A collaborative, trustful and innovative work environment.Being part of an international team and work in global projects.Relocation assistance to Madrid provided.At BASF, the chemistry is right.Because we are counting on innovative solutions, on sustainable actions, and on connected thinking.
