You will provide the foundation of data management and governance in the years to come.RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the Governance Coordination team to provide insights and guidance to various members of the data community, empowering them to effectively fulfill their rolesSupport continuous improvement and change management initiatives related to the implementation of data governance guidelines, frameworks, and rules established by the Data Governance team.Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to disseminate Data Guidelines, Frameworks, and standards defined at the global level to all data community members.Assist in the design, definition, and implementation of effective data governance practices and tools.Facilitate workshops aimed at steering and implementing data governance and management processes.Conduct audits to evaluate data governance and proper data handling on prioritized projects or regions, aligning with business needs, strategic goals, or specific requirementsCollaborate with other members of the Data Governance and Strategy team to identify opportunities for enhancing data handling practices across AP.QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related field (e.g., business informatics)3-5 years of project management or data management experience, principles, practices, and techniques used in managing information.High affinity for organizational communication well as excellent presentation skillsDeep knowledge experience and affinity in data management ecosystems and data governanceGood understanding of data sharing, data protection, data demand management, data quality and knowledge management conceptsBachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Data Governance, Data Architect or in a similar roleStrong understanding of data governance principles and practices.Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in data managementExcellent communication and collaboration skillsProblem-solving aptitude and attention to detailBENEFITSResponsibility from day one in a challenging work environment and "on-the-job" training as part of a committed team.Adequate compensation according to your qualifications and experience • A secure work environment because your health, safety and wellbeing is always our top priority.Flexible work schedule and Home-office options, so that you can balance your working life and private life.Learning and development opportunities23 holidays per yearAnother 5 days (readjustments days) and 2 days (cultural days)A collaborative, trustful and innovative work environmentBeing part of an international team and work in global projectsRelocation assistance to Madrid providedAt BASF, the chemistry is right.Because we are counting on innovative solutions, on sustainable actions, and on connected thinking.
