We're seeking an experienced People Support Specialist to join our international People team in Barcelona (Hybrid) to serve as a key operational pillar across our international locations, managing the end-to-end employee cycle while actively contributing to integrating AI and automation into our daily workflows. What you will do:
The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a People Support Specialist in the People Team you will be in charge of:
- Next-Gen Payroll & Compliance Support
- Collaborate with local teams and external payroll providers to coordinate payroll and employee relations across assigned European locations.
- Provide monthly operational support and backup coverage for the Spanish payroll cycle (including Social Security, tax alignment, and resolving employee inquiries).
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and regulations across assigned international sites.
- AI Initiative: Work as a team to identify opportunities to implement automated workflows and AI-driven auditing tools that eliminate manual errors in payroll and tax processing.
- Managing the Employee Lifecycle & Experience
- Drive and manage the full employee cycle, from seamless onboarding and welcoming new starters to supportive offboarding processes.
- Manage employee documentation, benefits, and leave administration (sick leave, maternity/paternity, IT/leaves of absence) with precision.
- Act as a friendly and reliable point of contact for employee queries across international sites and Spain, working closely with HR colleagues to provide timely resolution.
- AI Initiative: Leverage AI tools and automated ticketing systems to streamline response times and deliver an efficient, high-quality experience for all team members during working hours.
- Data Intelligence & Strategy
- Maintain "Data Excellence" within our HRIS through close teamwork, ensuring all employee records are accurate, up-to‑date, and compliant with privacy standards.
- Generate insightful operational reports to support data-driven decision-making across the People Support Team.
- AI Initiative: Utilize predictive analytics and AI tools to track key operational metrics, such as employee turnover trends, request volumes, and process bottlenecks.

- Education: University degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) supporting European payrolls (including Spain) and managing the core employee lifecycle (onboarding, new starters, offboarding, and admin).
- Solid working knowledge of Spanish payroll processes, Social Security management, and local labor legislation in Spain to effectively handle employee queries and serve as an internal backup.
- Team Player: Strong collaborative spirit and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in international and multi-location tea
