Data Scientist / Quantitative Developer (Python) Madrid onsite to €100,000
Would you like to join a growing Fintech where technology, quantitative modelling and investment strategy come together in a hands‑on Data Scientist role?
As a Data Scientist you will work on intellectually demanding problems at the heart of a sophisticated financial platform, helping turn complex quantitative models into scalable, production grade tools used across investment and portfolio strategy.
Collaborating with Quants and Software Engineers, you will help integrate mathematical and statistical models into robust Python based applications, APIs and data tools, supporting cross asset investment workflows.
This Data Scientist role offers a strong mix of problem solving, software engineering and real‑world impact.
Location:
You’ll be based in Madrid on a fulltime basis (Monday to Friday).
About you:
- You have studied at a top 10 university in Spain (or top 200 globally) and have achieved 9.0 and above in Bachillerato and 7.0 and above, gained at a top tier university, MSc or PhD advantageous
- You have commercial experience in a Data Scientist or Quantitative Developer role
- You have advanced Python programming skills
- You have a strong knowledge of SQL databases
- You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
- You're entrepreneurial with good business acumen, keen to take ownership and lead projects
- You're collaborative, enjoy problem solving and sharing ideas
