Department: Fragrance SalesDays: Monday – FridayEssential Position Functions and Responsibilities:The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the following:Developing new business opportunities and servicing existing business.Assisting Outside sales rep as neededManaging customer database, identifying and qualifying new leads, initiating communication, and ensuring follow-up is done in a timely mannerUsing strategic analysis to determine potential profit and costs associated with opportunitiesMaintaining awareness of industry trends as well as fragrance trends. Effectively presenting and articulating product features and benefits. Utilizing consultative approach to evaluate and understand customer’s business and needs.Reporting sales activity using company CRMManaging Knowde/PCP leads. Execute a daily routine of strategic territory management.Sending a monthly report to marketing regarding inquiries coming from sales@orchidia.comBuilding long-term relationships with clients to support them in their endeavors to create new fragrances, using our products effectively and offering customized solutionsSkills/Abilities Required:Degree in Chemistry, Biology and/or business is preferableExceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and a persuasiveness to negotiate and close sales are requiredProficient computer skills, including Outlook, MS Excel/Word, and ERPEnthusiastic, highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with a serious work ethic, positive attitude and exceptional creativity and innovation.Some travel may be required to meet with customers and attend trade showsAbility to create short term/long term strategy for successExpertise using LinkedIn/other online platforms – search new contactsReliable, predictable attendance is requiredIf interested, please submit a resume to careers@flavorchem.com .
