Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Head of Database Administration (DBA) to lead and scale our database team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on expertise, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance across a diverse database ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a growing DBA team (currently 5 members, with active hiring ongoing) Oversee performance, availability, backup, and disaster recovery for more than 100 database servers, including several high‑load systems Collaborate closely with development teams, solution architects, and data analysts to ensure database reliability and efficiency Drive adoption of modern practices for database management, migrations, automation, and process standardization Evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies and solutions to meet evolving business needs Qualifications Proven experience managing large‑scale, high‑availability database infrastructures Strong leadership and people management skills Experience working across cloud, on‑premises, and containerized environments (Kubernetes) Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills Tech Stack Databases hosted in the cloud, on‑premises, and in Kubernetes environments Benefits 23 working days of vacation per year 6 sick days without a doctor's note Medical insurance Birthdays, milestones, and employee anniversaries celebrations Modern offices with snacks and all the essentials Social Club and more than 50 events per year – coming soon Breakfasts and lunches (partially covered) Language classes & tennis lessons (partially covered) Bold moves start here.
