Job Description: Job Title: IT InternReports to: IT Manager/Infrastructure Team LeadLocation: BarcelonaJob Type: Internship (part-time or full-time) Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Engineer Intern to join our IT team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience with various technologies, and contribute to the development of our IT systems infrastructure. This is a great chance to learn from experienced professionals, build your skills, and launch your career in the field of IT. Key Responsibilities: Assist with IT Systems Administration: Help with daily tasks such as, equipment build/assignment/manage/decommission, Tier 1 troubleshooting issues. Assist with server and network administration, including patching, updates, and backups. Meeting room revision and correction Contribute to Project Work: Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or new implementations. Assist with project planning, execution, and documentation. Learn and Develop New Skills: Receive training and mentorship from experienced IT professionals. Learn about various technologies, including Windows and Linux operating systems, network protocols, and cloud-based services. Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of IT systems. Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, including end-users and management. Requirements: Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field (e.g., Formación Profesional). Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems. Familiarity with scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Bash. Experience: No prior experience required, but previous internships or relevant coursework are a plus. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Nice to Have: Certifications: CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
