Hardware Product Manager

Role Overview: Your Day-to-DayAs a Hardware Product Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of our home security hardware portfolio. You will drive our hardware product strategy, manage vendor relationships, conduct competitive analysis, and ensure successful go-to-market execution to shape the future of Sector Alarm’s hardware offerings.You will collaborate closely with senior members of Sector Alarm’s tech team to coordinate technical initiatives and report to the Head of Consumer-facing products and UX.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify hardware needs in alignment with consumer and business goals.Revamp and develop our premium hardware offering, including selecting vendors, components, and third‑party integration strategies.Stay informed of relevant developments in the vendor ecosystem, conduct competitive analysis, and decide the best ways to integrate with them.Conduct build‑vs‑buy analysis on hardware and make strategic recommendations.Define user stories related to hardware components and translate them into technical requirements for device behavior, embedded logic, cloud integration, and in‑app experience.Own business case development for new hardware initiatives.Prepare best‑practice material and ensure app readiness in collaboration with software teams.Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure seamless product launches.Lead test and integration efforts with third‑party hardware providers and internal teams.Manage stock levels in collaboration with operations and logistics.Drive price negotiations to ensure optimal hardware margins in collaboration with the procurement director.Align external vendor roadmaps with internal product strategy.Act as the glue across various Tech and Commercial teams to ensure flawless execution.What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in product management or a related role.Technical fluency to work closely with engineering and test teams.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.Experience with hardware product management.Deep understanding of hardware lifecycle, from concept through production and sunset.Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, supply chain, UX, marketing, and external partners.English fluency.Valid work permit within the EU.Nice‑to‑HavesExperience launching successful hardware products in the IoT, home security, or smart home space.Background in a tech‑driven or product‑led company.MBA or equivalent.About the Recruitment ProcessWe will recruit on a rolling basis, so please do not hesitate to apply with a CV in English.
