Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Join to apply for the Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role at Sateliot . Sateliot is a Barcelona-based startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol. In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive. YOUR MISSION To structure and lead the company's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. The main objective is to lay the foundations of the department by developing robust reporting, analysis, and control processes, acting as a strategic business partner to support and follow executive decision‑making. This individual will be key in conceptualizing and creating dashboards for comprehensive company monitoring, with the vision of leading a team in the medium‑to‑long term and evolving the analysis by business lines. YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS Structure and lead the FP&A function: managing the complete end‑to‑end monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Act as a strategic business partner: provide robust analysis (variance, CAPEX/OPEX, cost‑benefit) and financial support to business units (e.g., Supply Chain) and executive leadership to drive decision‑making. Develop reporting and dashboards: design, implement, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and financial reports for company performance tracking and reporting to investors/stakeholders. Oversee management control and audits: implement robust control processes (including assets and inventory) and lead the management of all internal and external audit procedures; manage financial closing and consolidation: ensure the accuracy of bookings, review the monthly financial closing, and actively participate in the consolidation of financial statements. REQUIREMENTS 5 to 7 years of professional experience within a finance department, preferably in the telecommunications or industrial sector. Proven prior experience in managing and leading finance teams. Solid experience in FP&A, leading the end‑to‑end monthly financial close, performing variance tracking and deviation analysis, and participating in the budgeting/forecasting process. Mastery of management control, including assets and inventory control, and specific cost‑benefit analysis in the commercial phase. Proven experience and hands‑on approach in monthly financial closing processes, ensuring the correct booking, review, and preparation of financial reporting to investors and stakeholders. Solid experience in managing and handling audit processes (internal and external), with the capability to face them successfully. Knowledge of consolidation of financial statements. Proven ability to act as a business partner: capacity to conceptualize business needs and maintain a direct line with key areas such as Supply Chain. Experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting for company performance tracking. Expert proficiency in Excel (advanced). Demonstrable experience using SAP (especially financial modules). Strong analytical, financial modeling and strategic skills. In‑depth knowledge of CAPEX and OPEX analysis, tracking, and control.
