Role Description We are looking for a Senior Sales & Business Development Manager to drive Merit’s commercial growth in Europe and beyond . Based in Barcelona, this hybrid role is central to expanding our footprint, securing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with top‑tier clients and partners. What you’ll do: Lead business development efforts across Europe, identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the SaaS, fintech, and loyalty ecosystems. Build and nurture strong relationships with senior decision‑makers at banks, retailers, airlines, and strategic partners. Develop tailored proposals, negotiate high‑value contracts, and close complex deals. Collaborate with internal teams (tech, product, partnerships, marketing) to design innovative solutions that meet client needs. Represent Merit at industry events, conferences, and client meetings , serving as a brand ambassador. Own the sales pipeline, deliver accurate forecasting, and report on commercial performance. Identify new markets and verticals for Merit’s expansion, shaping go‑to‑market strategies. Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to the growth of the sales function.
