Lead Data Scientist - Barcelona or Madrid - Hybrid A European-based start‑up that empowers businesses with meaningful AI, building easy‑to‑use products that directly impact users’ workflow. We collaborate with multiple clients to revolutionise the use of artificial intelligence in the corporate world, integrating client data with open‑source data to create ML‑driven insights that change how businesses operate. Role You will spearhead multiple initiatives across product development, releases, and strategic initiatives in areas such as Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and more. This hybrid role blends hands‑on AI/ML work with strategic leadership, collaborating closely with senior leadership to align technological vision with business objectives. Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end product development cycles for multidisciplinary data science teams. Drive product verticals across multiple business areas. Balance hands‑on technical work with high‑level strategy and stakeholder collaboration. Ensure continuity between the company’s vision and the outcomes delivered by the team. Requirements In‑depth knowledge of ML/AI, with expertise in Deep Learning, GenAI, or ML Ops. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different business domains. Experience mentoring or leading data science teams. Strong business prioritisation skills and the capacity to engage in technical conversations. Location & Working Conditions Barcelona or Madrid. Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Additional Information Seniority level: Mid‑Senior. Employment type: Full‑time.
