Forecast and simulate hypotheticals to provide early potential signals before large initiatives start. Design and analyze A/B and multivariate testing experiments; guide experimentation best practices across teams. Design, build, and maintain reusable, scalable data products and self‑serve capabilities used by multiple internal teams. Translate analyses into clear, actionable recommendations, linking insights to business outcomes such as ROI, conversion, retention, and revenue. Maintain a deep understanding of the product, relevant data assets, and the outcomes of past experiments and analyses. Identify opportunities for new data products and integrations, prioritise a backlog of data assets and use cases, and collaborate with business partners to implement them. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure strong internal customer focus and alignment. Partner with engineers to ensure appropriate and scalable tracking is in place. Successful Lead Data Scientist Candidates Have Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Strong business acumen and ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and decision frameworks. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment through data‑driven insights and recommendations. Advanced knowledge of statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, causal inference, and forecasting. Hands‑on experience with experiment design, analysis, and rollout of A/B and multivariate tests. Advanced SQL skills and ability to write efficient, production‑ready queries. Strong Python skills for data manipulation, visualisation, and advanced analysis. Knowledge of data modelling and experience partnering with engineers on data infrastructure. Experience prioritising and managing analytical work, data assets, or product back‑logs in a cross‑functional environment.
