We are looking for a Leather Development & Sourcing Manager to join our Development team.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge creative vision and technical execution, translating design briefs into proprietary brand signatures while maintaining the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and efficiency.
Job ResponsabilitiesDrive Rapid Development & Innovation: Spearhead end-to-end development cycles from the initial design brief to industrialization, successfully optimizing innovation lead times while maintaining strict adherence to the collection milestone calendar without quality degradation.
Translate Creative Vision into Brand Signatures: Direct exclusive touch, finishes, color depth, and natural aging characteristics, ensuring high first-time-right color and handfeel approval rates and consistent Maison signature finishes across bulk production.
Quality Assurance & Technical Validation: Balance acceleration in time-to-market with rigorous technical validation, comprehensive testing, quality assurance, and root-cause analysis for leather behavior in handbag construction.
Profile15+ years of proven experience in leather development, research, and tanning within a fast-paced luxury environment.
Fluency in English and Spanish are a must; knowledge of Italian and/or French is a strong advantage.
