In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.ResponsibilitiesCreation and maintenance of Data Lakehouses, including their cloud infrastructure aspects;Adjusting architecture for public cloud, including multi-cloud distribution of data;Gathering business requirements, designing ETL processes and data modelling;Performance analysis and optimization of the entire flow of data from source systems (frequently on premises) to clients;Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes;Adaptation of data for use by AI (ontologies, indexation), and intermediate AI usage;Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers;Provide supporting documentation for governance and compliance purpose.RequirementsMaster degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;At least 2 years of experience in Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric;Good knowledge of data lake & lakehouse design;Good knowledge of advanced capabilities of Microsoft Fabric (not just Power BI), and/or Azure Synapse;Good knowledge of relational database systems;Good knowledge of non-relational database systems, including document stores (ex: CosmosDb, MongoDb);Knowledge of Spark notebooks and infrastructure-as-Code and working with version control systems;Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in Cloud based Data Engineering and AI;Certification of one of the following Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Cloud Solution Architect;Knowledge of Generative AI Prompting and either RAG or other agentic memory techniques would be considered an asset;Knowledge of Azure Policy, AWS Infrastructure as Code and Machine Learning workflows and services would be considered an asset.Excellent command of the English language.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Sansaone by 2xGet notified about new Business Intelligence Expert jobs in European Union .#J-18808-Ljbffr
