We are one of the leaders in this space, supporting over 150 paying customers. Our agents replicate human capabilities by taking actions and retrieving information from external services as needed. Our platform automates over 80% of support tickets for top merchants through Yuma. Founded by Guillaume Luccisano, a 3rd‑time YC founder, we have a team of 20 dedicated talents and are in our 10th consecutive month of double‑digit growth, aiming to quadruple revenue in 2026. Role Overview We are a small team of 5 engineers working at startup speed. The backend is a Ruby on Rails API with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq; the frontend uses Next.js and React. We handle millions of support tickets and e-commerce data points daily. The role involves building and scaling the AI Agent pipeline, product iterations, LLM integration, performance optimization, and occasional frontend work. Ideal Candidate You have led and built multiple large Rails applications, are pragmatic with trade‑offs favoring iteration speed and quality, and are driven by delivering value to users. You prefer backend work but are comfortable on the front end, and Rails is second nature to you. Recent experience with LLMs is mandatory. You have adopted AI in your day‑to‑day tasks and are comfortable building with LLMs and managing non‑deterministic output. We seek someone relentless, deeply caring about ownership, and looking to join an early, hard‑working team.
