About us Simon is redefining how finance teams work. We're building the Finance AI Teammate, a category-defining product that turns ERPs like NetSuite into a simple, intelligent, and proactive system of intelligence. We are now looking for a motivated and skilled AI Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of finance analytics. Job description As an AI Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of LLMs, structured data, and financial logic, helping Simon evolve from a powerful Q&A engine to a fully autonomous AI teammate that understands, reasons, and acts. You'll collaborate closely with our CTO and Product team to develop models, pipelines, and orchestration layers that make Simon smarter every week. Responsibilities This rocket needs someone to... Design, develop, and optimize AI models tailored to our product, with a focus on analytics and generating valuable insights from customer-specific data. Work closely with the data engineering team to integrate AI models with the data infrastructure (DWH, semantic layer, ...), ensuring smooth interaction between data systems and AI-driven solutions. Contribute to building AI-driven agents that interact with customer data, providing insightful, accurate, and actionable responses for financial (and other business related) queries and decision-making. Apply machine learning techniques to detect patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights within customer data, collaborating across teams to merge ML, AI, and Data in areas like data conciliation and anomaly detection. Partner with product, data, and development teams to turn business requirements into AI-driven solutions, ensuring a seamless flow of information and ideas. While focusing on AI, you will also engage in key data tasks, contributing to data engineering and transformation efforts, working in close cooperation with the data team to ensure data quality and the optimization of AI models. Join us if you... Are extremely motivated. We also look at a: 1+ years of experience building AI systems or ML products (LLMs, NLP, or data-centric AI). Strong Python skills and familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack. Experience integrating LLMs with structured data (SQL, vector stores, RAG pipelines). Understanding offinancial or business data models (ERP, accounting, FP&A, BI). Obsession with accuracy, explainability, and reliability in AI outputs.
