Field Service Engineer

Overview The Field Service Engineer will provide on-site reactive service for our Microbiology products located within hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. The role includes installation and upgrades of these systems, secondary responsibility for preventative maintenance, and participation in pre-installation testing and documentation of uncovered technical issues.Main Responsibilities Start-up of new systems on-sitePreventive maintenance of the equipment and related administrative tasks (inventory control, spare parts management, expense reports, shipments, RMA, etc.)Corrective on-site visits to resolve incidentsOther administrative tasks related to field service functionsAbout You / Qualifications Educated at least to A-level standard; a degree in Electronics or Telecommunications is preferredNo experience required or experience is acceptableProfessionalism, autonomy, and organizational capacitySelf-training capacityAbility to assess and analyze each situation exhaustively before requesting supportSalary Salary range for this position: EUR 45,000 - 50,000Salary Range Information: €40,700.00 - €65,150.00 EUR AnnualAbout BD BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world.
