The Field Service Engineer will provide on-site reactive service for our Microbiology products located within hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. Additionally, the Field Service Engineer will participate in the installation and upgrades of these systems and secondarily execute a preventative maintenance program. They will participate in pre-installation testing, reconfiguring, and documentation of uncovered technical issues of all applicable systems.Overview By aligning and simplifying our work, our Diagnostic Solutions (DS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions.Responsibilities Start-up new systems on-sitePreventive maintenance of the equipment as well as the administrative tasks that such maintenance entailsCorrective visits on-site to solve any incident that may occurVarious administrative tasks related to their functions: preparation of expense reports incurred, control of your stock of spare parts (inventory, request, receipt, shipments, RMA, etc.)Qualifications About youEducated at least to ‘A’ level standard, although a Degree in Electronic or Telecommunications.
