In this role you drive public funding opportunities to enable Ru0026amp;T roadmaps for Airbus Helicopters España. You work closely with Engineering Spain leadership and the Ru0026amp;I function to map European, national, and regional funds, building consortia and securing financing. You coordinate bid strategies, liaise with external stakeholders, and ensure smooth handover to project execution. The role combines strategic influence, cross-divisional collaboration, and IP guardrails to advance technology initiatives.

• Monitor and map European, national, and regional funding landscapes to identify strategic financing opportunities
• Lead capture strategy and prepare high-quality proposals for public funding and industrial investment
• Drive strategic lobbying and alignment with external stakeholders to defend the technological roadmap
• Build and manage early-stage consortia with partners across Spain and Europe
• Coordinate handover to Ru0026T execution teams and support project execution and justification
• Align technology roadmaps with funding mechanisms in collaboration with Ru0026T teams and CoCs
• Ensure IP protection for early-stage consortia and proposal structures under guidance
• Support cross-divisional coordination to maximize synergy and compliant funding
• Communicate funding strategy and progress to internal stakeholders and leadership
Responsabilidades
• u003e10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in Ru0026D public funding capture in high-tech, defense, or aerospace
• Strong aeronautical technical background and understanding of complex engineering systems
• Extensive network within national and European funding bodies with known contacts (e.g., Spanish Ministry of Defence, DGAM, DIGEID/PLATIN, CDTI, MINTUR)
• Proven track record in navigating European programs (Clean Aviation, Horizon Europe, EDF) and national/regional funding mechanisms (CDTI, MINTUR)
• Experience in collaborative Ru0026D grants and knowledge of Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) is a plus
• Innovative mindset with team-oriented, cross-organizational collaboration and influence
• Autonomy to drive complex capture campaigns and coordinate multi-partner consortia
• Native Spanish speaker with fluent English (negotiation level)
• Ability to travel nationally and in Europe
• Strong integrity and risk awareness to protect the company’s reputation
