Student Talent Development Officer

The primary focus will be on managing the entire internship program and fostering strong partner engagement with corporate stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesInternship Program Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of the internship program, from sourcing and matching internship opportunities to supporting students throughout their placements. This includes coordinating with company partners, students, and internal departments to ensure smooth and successful internship experiences to ensure alignment between student profiles and partner needs.Student support and Talent Development: To provide personalized support for students, helping them navigate their career paths, develop professional skills, and secure internships and job placements. Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to help students understand their career aspirations, identify potential opportunities, and create personalized action plans for achieving their professional goals. Organize workshops and training sessions on essential employability skills, such as resume writing, interview preparation, networking techniques, and personal branding. Ensure students are prepared to present themselves effectively to potential employers.Partner Engagement: Lead efforts to engage and maintain relationships with corporate partners. Ensure ongoing collaboration through internship opportunities, company visits, and networking events. Explore new partnership opportunities to expand student placements and career services initiatives.Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of all events hosted by the Career Services department, including but not limited toBusiness Immersion Week: co-coordination of logistics of this flagship event, offering a seamless experience for both students and corporate partners to ensure that students gain practical industry insights.Company Visits & Networking Events: Organize student visits to partner companies, coordinating logistics and ensuring high-impact engagement for students.Data Tracking & Reporting: Track and report on the outcomes of the internship program, events, and partnerships. Provide data-driven insights to improve future activities and foster greater student and partner engagement.QualificationsExperience: Professional with at least 3 years of experience in career services, event management, corporate relations, or a related field. Experience in providing career coaching and managing internship programs in an educational setting is highly desirable.SkillsStrong organizational and project management skills.Proven ability to engage and manage relationships with corporate partners.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and external stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Languages: Fluency in English and basic Spanish is required. Any other language would be a strong asset.Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, event management, or a related field.
