Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years of experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. We are looking for an M&A Associate based in Madrid or Sevilla to give support to our projects globally. Support M&A transactions across multiple geographies. Update M&A pipeline and deal status in internal reporting tools. Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis to support potential acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures. Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentation materials for internal Committees and senior management. Participate in the due diligence process, coordinating with external advisers (financial, legal, tax, and technical). Collaborate with internal teams (Project Finance, Development, Engineering, and Legal) to assess transaction feasibility and risk. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering. MBA will be a plus. Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Spanish and English. Hybrid model with 2 flexible days a week working from home. Stable employment based on a permanent contract.
