Ryanair are currently recruiting for a CS Legal Associate to join Europe’s Largest Airline GroupThis is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.The purpose of this position is to support Ryanair’s Customer Service Legal team and the broader company in protecting Ryanair’s interests whilst complying with our obligations under EU Regulation 261/2004. The successful candidate will be hard-working, energetic, self-motivated with a natural ability for problem solving.The RoleRyanair’s significant growth and the increase of EU261 awareness has led to higher case volume and more support and advice being sought from our Customer Service Legal team.The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, air passenger rights, consumer law, with an interest in aviation. They will be required to effectively manage the processing of high-volume litigation brought as a result of disruptions in all jurisdictions where Ryanair operates. They will work closely with the CS Lawyers, Legal Associate Managers, and CS Legal Supervisors in the development of strategies designed to improve success rates of our in-house CS Legal team.The successful candidate will maintain up-to-date knowledge of passenger rights and relevant EU/national legislation.Requirements Qualified lawyer with litigation experienceExperience handling EU261-related matters would be an advantageUnderstanding of consumer protection legislation, particularly at European levelA pro-active, can-do attitude and ability to work independently with limited supervisionAbility to learn quickly, show initiative and cope with a large and varied caseload, whilst complying with tight legal deadlinesA creative and proactive approach to problem-solvingProven ability to foster constructive and collaborative relationships with colleagues and internal/external stakeholdersExceptional organisation, planning, record-keeping and communication skillsOutstanding drafting and legal writing skills, attention to detailFull professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). Italian and German would be highly-regarded.Willingness to travelAd hoc duties will be required to support the team, in an incredibly fast-paced and dynamic environment.We believe in an hybrid working model, you can work up to two days per week remote, but you are also going to enjoy the excellent work environment at our modern offices in the heart of Madrid.#J-18808-Ljbffr
