Our mission is to enable smart, efficient, and scalable solutions through automation, self-service, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is based in our energetic Madrid office. We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic Senior ServiceNow Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, understands the bigger picture, and knows how to turn business needs into scalable solutions. In this role, you’ll lead medium to high-complexity projects, influence platform direction, and act as a key technical partner to stakeholders across the company. This is an opportunity to shape how Celonis leverages ServiceNow as a foundational platform for internal excellence. Plan and execute mid-to-high complexity projects, proactively managing dependencies and timelines. Make architectural decisions that improve scalability, performance, and platform governance. Provide regular updates on project status, task priorities, and implementation complexity. Contribute to roadmap planning and integration with broader business initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ~5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow as an Architect, Developer, or Technical Lead. ~ Proven track record of delivering complex ServiceNow projects, including integrations with other systems. ~ ServiceNow Certified System Administrator + at least one CIS certification (e.g., Advanced scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Glide, etc.) and understanding of core CS concepts (data structures, algorithms, etc.). ~ Skilled in system performance troubleshooting, platform security, ACLs, and SSO. ~ Familiarity with AI/ML features like Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Generative AI. ~ Consistently shares knowledge and mentors junior team members. ~ Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills in English.
