About the job The Waste and Water market, within our Food & Water Division, is a key part of the growth strategy for Alfa Laval Iberica. Alfa Laval Iberica is looking to recruit a Field Sales Engineer for this market. This professional will be responsible for developing this business and selling our Services to our customers, mainly contractors. The Field Sales Engineer also needs to keep the end user and engineering companies in the loop, to close the sales cycle successfully. This responsibility requires a high level of coordination with the rest of the members of Iberica Sales Company and Business Unit central team. The main responsibilities will be: Analyze and understand market insights and the customers' buying behavior, making business plans according to the business division strategy and targets. Look for and manage leads from the market to convert them into real service business opportunities, growing and securing the projects pipeline. Be active in the market and focus on making meetings and interactions with customers focusing on their needs. Service agreements, upgrades and optimizations will be the key service products in the position. Develop technical and value quotes to fulfill customer needs, highlighting the unique selling points and doing thorough follow-up of the projects. Who you are A dynamic and proactive person, who really like to generate outstanding customer experience, through value selling based on customer needs. A person with genuine curiosity for business development, looking for new opportunities in the market, based on deep market and data analysis. A challenging person, with digital mindset and good understanding of customer needs. Focused both on selling service products and creating value for the customer. A person with good communication skills, energy, passion, drive, and a team player. What you know Industrial / Environmental engineering degree (preferred) or similar Strong and solid commercial orientation with, preferably, at least 3 years' experience in technical sales. We value separation/filtration technology knowledge. Spanish, and fluent English speaker Resident in Madrid area. The position is located in our offices in Alcobendas Availability to travel in Spain.
