Strategic Pricing Manager

Hempel, a global leader in coatings and paints, is seeking your integrity to achieve high-reaching goals. We are redefining the way we price, and you will play a key role in defining our segment pricing strategy. You will own a specific segment and work together with product management, R&D, and sales to define the go-to-market strategy.

• Taking full ownership of the pricing strategy for a key segment within our global portfolio, leading the development of our pricing landscape and implementing innovative solutions to drive profitability and market leadership.
• Influencing key business decisions and playing a crucial part in our global success story.
• Thriving in a flexible work model from Polinyà, Spain, reporting directly to the Head of Global Pricing Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams ensuring cohesive decision-making.
• Analyzing market trends and optimizing pricing using pricing software, targeting to improve segment impact.
• Meeting and exceeding segment business objectives through strategic pricing initiatives.
• Implementing value-based pricing strategies that strengthen market position and customer satisfaction.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in business, natural sciences, or a related field.
• Validated pricing experience, with relevant knowledge in strategy development and value-based pricing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Understanding of sustainability in a business context.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage.
